2024 Fire in Our Hearts #1 (July 8-12)

Fire in Our Hearts Camp is fun filled days for youth (entering 5th - 12th grade in fall) utilizing recreation, worship, teaching, and ministry times to share the love of Jesus. The focus is on developing your relationship with Christ and other Christians. Campers from all churches are welcome. There will be provided: Lodging, meals, snacks and activities.

Check in begins Monday at 8:15 AM. Campers may be picked up Friday at 9:00 PM.

Camp will provide meals, snacks, and air-conditioned bunk style accommodations. Campers are expected to follow all camp regulations and to be at camp for the entire week unless other arrangements are made prior to camp.

All medicine must be turned in for safekeeping and administration during camp. Medicine must be in its original container and must clearly identify the patient, the type of medicine, the proper dosage and any administration instructions.

Activities may include crafts, fishing, hiking, archery, dance, mime, music, campfire, small-group, indoor games, and outdoor games. Each evening at 6:45 pm we will host worship services open to family and friends.

Campers should bring a Bible, bedroll, pillow, jacket, closed toe shoes, modest casual clothing for five days, long pants for hiking, a towel, personal care items, and fishing gear if desired.

Please do NOT bring food items to camp. Meals and snacks are provided. We ask you NOT to bring music playing devices, hand-held games, magazines, comic books, toys, or pets. All personal phones should be turned off and put away during all activities. Cell phone use will be limited to a short time period each day: 12:30pm-1 pr; 4:50pm-5:20pm and 9:30pm-9:50 pm.

Dress code is: No cleavage, tummies, or boxers showing - No short-shorts or tight shorts - No spaghetti strap, tank top or sleeveless shirts. All shirts must have sleeves. Closed-toe shoes will be required during all activities, NO "flip flops" crocs, or open toe shoes. Campers are expected to dress very modestly throughout all of camp. Those who do not dress accordingly will be required to change.

You will receive a confirmation email once successfully registered for camp. Priority is given so that all campers may attend FIOH at least once a year. If registering for both camps, you may be asked to stay home from one to ensure this policy.
